ENROLMENT UPDATE - APPLICATIONS AND INTERVIEWS FOR PREP 2021

A large number of applications for Prep 2021 have been received. New applications will be placed on the waiting list. First round interviews were scheduled for early in Term 2.  These interviews have been postponed until further notice.   We will update you as information becomes available.


 

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at St Martin's Catholic Primary School Carina.  St Martin's is a school for boys and girls from Prep to Year 6, forming part of the Brisbane Archdiocesan community of schools.   At St Martin's we believe that our school community develops in a manner consistent with the spirit of Saint Dominic and​ the principles that promote positive relationships in classrooms and the broader community. 

ENROLMENT POLICY
At times it is necessary to limit the intake of students for various reasons.  In these circumstances, preference will be given in order of the following Categories 1 to 5. 

Category 1.  Children who is a sibling of a current student of St Martin's.
Category 2.  Children who are baptised Catholic, whose family worships at Our Lady of Graces' Church
Category 3.  Children who are baptised Catholics, whose family worships at another Parish.
Category 4.  Children who are baptised, whose family is practicing another faith tradition.
Category 5.  Children who are not baptised and both parents support the philosophy of Catholic Education.

WHEN SHOULD MY CHILD START SCHOOL?
St Martin's School follow the recommended year level for enrolments from Brisbane Catholic Education.

ENROLMENT POLICY INCLUSION SUPPORT
The Enrolment Support Process for inclusion will be followed under the guidelines of Brisbane Catholic Education.  The purpose of such a process is to explore the needs of the child and to determine the suitability of the school resources.    It is important that all parties agree the resources and environment are compatible. On acceptance of enrolment application, is understood that parents comply with the spirit of the school Mission Statement and agree to pay such fees and mandatory levies as set by the local authority.   Please contact us directly for a brochure.

HOW TO ENROL
Before going ahead, we ask to please ensure ALL supporting paperwork applicable to your application is ready.
Unfortunately, enrolments applications which are not completed in full cannot be processed.

ENROLLING FOR PREP
Please email ALL the supporting documents together to pcarina@bne.catholic.edu.au

  2. Click here to complete Enrolment Category Form​ and Application Fee
  3. Birth Certificate
  4. Baptism Certificate (if applicable)
  5. Visa and Citizenship documents for student and parents when born overseas  (if applicable)
  6. Medical or learning reports from specialists (if applicable)
  7. Court order documents (if applicable)

ENROLLING FOR YEARS 1 TO 6
