Vision and Mission

St Martin's School Vision and Mission aligns with the Alice Springs (Mparntwe) Education Declaration by incorporating the two goals: to promote excellence and equity; and that all young Australians become confident and creative individuals, successful lifelong learners, and active and informed members of the community.

At the top, the Vision statement reads: “Inspired by St Martin de Porres, we are a faith-filled community who ‘Learn to Love and Love to Learn’.” Alongside, the Mission statement reads: “At St Martin’s we live our vision through our commitment to the four Dominican pillars of Prayer, Learning, Community and Service.” The centre of the image features a cross shape divided into four sections, each representing a Dominican pillar: Prayer: “We nurture and strengthen in our students a loving relationship with their God, shaped by Gospel values.” Learning: “We educate all to be life-long learners who are empowered to shape and enrich our world.” Community: “Through our words and actions, we are welcoming and inclusive, showing respect for self, others and our environment.” Service: “Inspired by Jesus’ example of service to others, we act and respond with compassion.” St Martin’s School logo appears above the cross, with decorative leaves in the background.
