Application for Enrolment Online

Thank you for your interest in enrolling your child at St Martin's. Please find the link below to your child's online application for enrolment.
You will need to click on the link, enter and review the required details, complete and submit the form.
If applying for enrolment for more than one student, when the form is completed option will be available to submit another enrolment for each additional student.
Please contact us directly, should you experience any difficulty completing the online application for enrolment.
 
A $55 application fee applies and is payable at the time of submission.

To lodge an application for your child, please remember to send:

·    Fully completed Application for Enrolment form (see above)
·    Photocopy of Birth Certificate
·    Photocopy of Baptismal Certificate
·    Photocopy last two school reports and NAPLAN report
·    Photocopy of any medical or learning reports

·    And if noted on your application: Legal Documentation, Medical Action Plan and Student Specialist Assessments

·    $55.00 non-refundable enrolment application fee
After lodging an Enrolment Application, parents will be invited to attend an enrolment interview.  It is important that your child or children who are enrolling attend this interview.
 

Enrolment Statement

Children applying for Prep must be born within the specific dates as set down by the Government.
·    Eligible children must turn 5 by 30 June in the year they start Prep or at the end of July with support documentation.
·    Interviews for Prep conducted by a member of the Leadership Team in May
·    Offers for positions sent out in June. Confirmation of enrolment form sent with request for payment of $200 to confirm enrolment. This payment is non-refundable and deducted from your Term 1 school fees.
·    An orientation is conducted for the Prep pupils during Term 4.
·    Other year level enrolments happen across the year as well as an intake at the beginning of each new school year. These positions are offered if positions become available through students leaving.
·    A similar process occurs with interviews and offers of places if available.

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES ENROLMENT

Should it be necessary to limit the intake of Prep or Year One students to St. Martin’s, then preference will be given to
1.      children who is a sibling of a current student of St Martin’s.
2.      children who are baptised Catholic, whose family worships at Our Lady of Graces’ Church
3.      children who are baptised Catholics, whose family worships at another Parish.
4.      children who are baptised, whose family is practicing another faith tradition.
5.      children who are not baptised.
Enrolment of Children with Special Needs
Before a child with special needs can be enrolled, the ‘Enrolment Support Process’, under the guidelines of the Brisbane Catholic Education Office, must be carried out. The purpose of such a process is:
·         To investigate the needs of the child; and
·         To determine the suitability of the resources of the school to fit the child’s requirements
It is important to realise that if the needs of the child and the resources of the school are not compatible, neither the individual child nor the school would benefit from such an enrolment.
If application is accepted it is understood that parents comply with the spirit of the school Mission Statement and agree to pay such fees and mandatory levies as set by the local authority.
